______

DILLASTRATE:

DILLASTRATE just can't sit still. Driven by a passion inspired by the life and works of J Dilla, they've toured New Zealand a staggering five times in their 18-month existence, tackling staple music festival stages including Northern Bass and Electric Avenue. Born in the dirty south of Aotearoa, the duo's previous collaborative efforts have included ahoribuzz and Soulsystem, as well as individual engagements with an intimidating host of national and international acts.

SIOBHAN SAINTE:

Steeped in vibrant, thematic aesthetics, Siobhan Sainte plays indie-driven pop, coated with indulgent, sentimental vocals and a shiny synth veneer.Represented by her love of film noir, haute couture and pop culture, Siobhan’s songs have a vintage feel of the 80s and 90s but are modernized with a pure adrenaline rush.

LAURA LEE LOVELY:

After returning home to Christchurch following time spent living (it up) in Melbourne and London, Laura Lee Lovely set up a home studio to write her debut E.P. Eden, which she released last year.
She created the EP in collaboration with accomplished local musician Simon Brouwer (Unfaithful Ways), who she also performs with in a live setting to bring her complex, multi-faceted tracks to life in compelling, joyful, and magnetic performances.
Her music often draws on darker, more sensual emotions lyrically, which feel warmly nostalgic over upbeat synthlines, house beats, and dynamic percussion.
Following the release of Eden, Laura toured nationally, including a performance earlier this year at Nostalgia Festival in Christchurch. She is currently working on her debut full length album, collaborating with Brouwer and local producer Jagā.
