The A&R Sessions with KARMA ARTISTS

Tileyard residents Karma Artists join us for conversations, advice and playback at our monthly A&R Sessions. Karma Artists Music Group was established in October 2012 and set up as a 'one stop shop' multi-faceted entertainment company by Jordan Jay and business partner Ross Gautreau. Jordan worked for Universal Music for 7 years as a Senior A&R Executive forming bands such as The Saturdays and The Wanted and has recently rejoined Universal as Senior A&R Manager for Virgin/EMI. Ross worked for ASCAP for 6 years where he built relationships with a wide variety of hit songwriters, producers and artists from both sides of the Atlantic and signed an array of talent to ASCAP including Calvin Harris and Florence and the Machine. He also championed/discovered The 1975 and James Bay. And currently, the combined sales of the roster that Karma represent are in excess of 250 million units.

We'll be discussing the goings on at Karma Artists and picking the brains of these music industry veterans - This will be followed by a short Q&A from the audience and a live A&R playback session where artists can receive feedback on their work.
