Ecstatic Bass Yoga - Tech House Edition with UnicornLife & Lok N Key

Ecstatic Bass Yoga brings the Untz as yoga teacher Claire Thompson joins forces with tech house power couple UnicornLife and Lok N Key from LA's Bok Choy collective. Starting with ambient textures and mind-opening soundscapes, the session builds to four-on-the-floor funk and yoga flow bringing you to dance floor bliss then down, to deep frequencies and deep stretch, with a final meditation. Claire's vibrant yoga asana and free movement sequence is specially sculpted to flow with the music and create a journey of body, breath and mind. Union Nightclub’s sweet Funktion-One Soundsystem provides full-frequency musical experience to rock your chakras and start your weekend off right!

Ecstatic Bass Yoga facilitator Claire Thompson has been touring the international festival scene since 2010 as a yoga, meditation, and massage teacher and with her project Yoga of Bass, which creates mainstage Yoga/DJ/Dance experiences in collaboration with DJs such as Desert Dwellers, David Starfire, FreQ Nasty, and Rhythmstar. Claire has taught at U.S. festivals Symbiosis, Lightning in a Bottle and Wanderlust, Canada’s Shambhala and Astral Harvest, Glade Festival United Kingdom, Luminate New Zealand, Wonderfruit Thailand, and Australia’s Rainbow Serpent, Earth Frequency, and Wanderlust, as well as at many yoga and meditation retreats. In Ecstatic Bass Yoga, Claire brings together her 16 years of practice and study of the body through massage therapy, yoga, and dance, her 10 year study of Buddhism and meditation, and her love of music and background in singing and performance to create a unique experience of body, breath and mind that is both lighthearted and deeply transformational.
