GCKGC is a philosophy. It represents a community and a way of life. A way to spread good vibes, create more smiles and give back. A message.
At the end of the day it's about good people knowing good people. And doing good things together.
Keeping with this theme, GCKGC has a heavy focus on giving back and is run by volunteers. Half of the proceeds from this event will be used to support the Foundation of Goodness charity in Sri Lanka, and the other half will be going towards our next event. The Foundation of Goodness has put a lot of effort into re-building post-tsunami and post-war Sri Lanka (Read more here: http://www.unconditionalcompassion.org) We have also opted to work with the Ticket Fairy to manage our ticketing for this event, as a portion of all their booking fees also goes to charity.
GCKGC presents a celebration of music, dancing and live art with likeminded individuals & talented Australian home grown talent. Behind the controls are Eegor (Open Records, BUS Records), Xenoscapes (Zenon Records, D.M.T. Records), Sebastian Bayne (IF? Records), Defined By Rhythm (Disconnected Audio) and Pragz.
SEBASTIAN BAYNE
Sebastian Bayne is a DJ, producer and label owner based in Sydney Australia. His music is fast gaining the attention of his peers. Supported by established techno artists like Laurent Garnier, Claude Young and Slam his music is also favoured by rising stars in the global techno scene namely Deepchild, 88uw and Krenzlin.
IF? Records is Sebastian's most recent project, having taken it over from long time techno cohort Andrez Bergen aka Little Nobody, in 2010. IF? Records was established in Melbourne in 1995, has over 130 releases, and a roster that reads like a who's who of the underground in the last 15 years; James Ruskin, Aux 88, Ade Fenton, Si Begg, Dave Angel, Justin Berkovi, K. Alexi Shelby, Steve Stoll, BCR Boys, Justin Robertson, Thomas Heckmann, Jammin’ Unit and Inigo Kennedy, just to name a few.
Previously, Sebastian was best known for the part he played in pioneering techno in Beijing learning his craft as a resident DJ in the city's most infamous clubs, throwing parties on the Great Wall and touring China and Hong Kong. Also well established in his home town of Sydney, Sebastian has played all the best techno parties in last 10 years including Technikal, Beware the Cat, Subservice, Deep as Funk, Lost Baggage and Disconnected.

EEGOR
With just under 2 decades of experience within the global electronic music scene, EEGOR aka Richie Blacker has earned himself a solid reputation in Australia and across the globe for his relentless base influenced music.
Having played in almost every major city on the Australian sub-continent and taking the stage in countries such as Japan, Thailand, India and extensive parts of Europe, diversity is nothing new to Richie. His DJ sets at major festivals such as ‘The Rainbow Serpent Festival’ (Australia), ‘Paradise Festival’(Austria) and Megaclub appearances at the ‘Pratersauna’ (Vienna, Austria), ‘Le Skandalo’ (Bordeaux, France) and ‘Elevate’ (India) to name a few, have reflected genres of music ranging from huge, atmospheric techno, dirty electro and progressive, all the way through to tribal/deep house, whilst maintaining a heavy bass undertone.
As a Label DJ & Producer for ‘Open Records’ (Australia) and ‘Bus Records’ (France), with external releases on ‘Iboga Records’ (Denmark), ‘Exogenic Records’(Finland) and ‘Regression Records’ (Las Vegas), Richie keeps himself busy by constantly discovering new grooves and exploring new avenues of sound to fuel his passion for Djing & Production.
XENOSCAPES
Xenoscapes is a dark, eerie, atmospheric form of minimal techno created from the mechanical creatures and thought processes within the mind of Benny Mcgrigor.
Benny has played at various gigs and festivals throughout Australia and has several releases on labels throughout the world including Zenon Records, Divided Records, Nulabel, D.M.T. Records, Stoffwechsel Records, Uroboros Rec and has his first two albums on Glitchy Tonic Rec.
With a new album due for release soon, we’re excited to see what Benny throws down.

DEFINED BY RHYTHM
Defined by Rhythm is a local favourite in the Sydney techno scene. One of the head honchos at Disconnected Audio, DBR has a firm grasp of the intricacies within techno, and can deliver them intelligently. He has warmed up, warmed down, and played alongside some of the global heavy weights in techno including the likes of Luke Slater, Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann. DBR is especially well known for his exceptional talent in caving heads at stupid o’clock. Brace yourself.
