FREE ENTRY – Supported by Red Stripe and Wray and Nephew

Now in our third year of our open deck, vinyl only events, we’re keeping this year’s events as free entry (with sign up). Thanks to the support from Wray and Nephew and Red Stripe it enables us to put these events on for free and provide a high level of DJ talent. We’d like to thank them for their continued support and would like to invite everyone along who’d like to play their records on the day. Please sign up for FREE entry.

SPECIAL GUEST: DJ Skitz

For the first event we have invited UK hip-hop legend Skitz aka Daddy Skitz to take to the wheels of steel. Often appearing alongside his partner in crime, Rodney P, Skitz has a wealth of music knowledge and we can’t wait to hear what he’s got in store for us on the 21st May.

NEW VENUE: GROW in Hackney Wick

We’re excited to announce that we are hosting this years open deck Red Stripe rub-a-dub club events at GROW in Hackney Wick. Carved out of what was once a sausage factory, Grow has been transformed into a unique bar, kitchen and creative space. Hidden in a yard in the heart of Hackney Wick and backing onto the canal, it was built by a small team and is operating as an experiment in ethical and sustainable business.

WANT TO DJ? Open Deck Policy, Vinyl Only

The rules are simple, turn up with your records and add your name to the wall, once your name is called you’ll get 20 minutes to play your favourite reggae, dub, dancehall and everything in between. Once your set is over you can add your name back up to the waiting list. With a host of other guest DJs already confirmed get in touch via Facebook before hand if you’d like to register interest.
